“ My wife and I love visiting San Diego (as she is from the area), and we just went to visit San Diego with her family for a family gathering. One place that we have visited off and on over the years was Leucadia Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant. We suggested to my in-laws we should go there for the garlic bread (though in reality, that was only one of many reasons we wanted to go there). We arrived and were lucky to find parking nearby. There was no wait so we got to sit down rather quickly. We were offered complimentary garlic bread (which my in-laws thought we were kidding about) which was certainly the highlight of the meal! My wife and I split two mini pizzas. One was a Rosemary Potato Chicken Pizza with roasted chicken, red potatoes, red onions, rosemary, and butter garlic sauce. The other was a BBQ Chicken Pizza with roasted chicken, red onions, cilantro, gouda cheese, and bbq sauce. They were both excellent (but still didn't compare to the garlic bread). It did take quite a while for the pizzas to arrive, but they were worth it. While we were there, we signed up of the reward program and downloaded the app. My first discount was for 20% off an online order (which didn't apply since we ordered in the restaurant. It is nice to be able to track for points on each visit and then to redeem them for discounts and more. We actually realized that a number of the other locations were delivery only and not dine-in. The restaurant still felt like a fun place for families, couples, happy hours, or gatherings. I enjoyed the jumbo-sized chair outside of the restaurant which is great for photos if you can just get up on it. I enjoyed my most recent visit (as usual) and look forward to going back again soon. Oh, did I mention I really enjoy their garlic bread!? ”

“ Four for mid-week dinner on a busy night. Ordered the Meatball sub, Margarita pizza, Thai chicken salad with Thai dressing and Apple Walnut with Blush Vinaigrette Salmon. All of it was great as usual, great service with Mason. Been to Leucadia Pizzeria many times over the years and the food and service just gets better. ”

“ Ordered food deliveries through doordash food: SO FAR in the 8 months has been delicious and clean. The COOK HAS BEEN GREAT. The Spaghetti with meat sauce is tasty as well as the garlic bread, Chicken wings had a good amount of meat and was cooked through- not sloppy wet and rubbery like some others. So far great! Walking in the placed seemed nice but there was an odor in the lobby of a moldy mop. Time to invest in turning over the cleaning equipment and training. Some attitude at the hostess site but then again it was a one time pickup and not a dine-in situation. Otherwise tip well, say thanks because its been a safe delicious food experience. Yum. ”

“ I don't understand the 3.5 star review! This is a place we often order from but don't always dine at. The food has often been consistent, and they are gracious w their sides. When we did eat in, we were a big party (15) who was immediately seated on a hot sunny Saturday. We ordered a lot of food, and it did not take a long time to come out. They had a variety of options that met the needs of all of us, including children. The children love their fettuccini & garlic bread, and we love their pizza & antipasto salad. So buttery, creamy, & cheesy!! ”

“ The five stars are truly for the service and atmosphere more than anything, but the food isn't bad either. Walked in to be seated immediately at 6pm on a Saturday, which was a relief given a previous visit where we'd been estimated to wait about half an hour for a table (impossible with two hungry toddlers). Arleigh, our server, was such a sweetheart, and gave us exemplary service our entire meal. Waters were out immediately, order taken and served promptly and meted out appropriately, and check and to-go boxes ready right when we were. Couldn't have had a better service experience. We got calamari, which came with marinara and a spicy roulade. Maybe a bit heavy on the breading and just a touch tough, but we still ate all of it happily. Lobster mac and cheese was piping hot and nicely creamy and cheesy. Just the right amount for an appetizer. Cobb salad was as would be expected, which was great. Pesto tomato pizza was yummy and had nice cheese pull. Overall satisfying. We'd come back just for the epic service, but the crayola crayons for the kids were pretty awesome. Thanks for a lovely experience! ”

“ Always a standout favorite. The pizza crust is a nice balance between crispy and doughy. We ordered a large that was made half as a deluxe and half as Santa Fe chicken which satisfied everyone in our group. Service was great and with a smile- thank you Kirk. A great place for Sunday afternoon lunch, a casual dinner or even happy hour for locals and tourists alike. ”

“ This is our go to place as a family and a group of friends as we did tonight the management were so accommodating to us and we are absolutely grateful. The food here is always excellent and tonight was no different. We were a large group with a last minute decision to eat here noting it was a Saturday night and they greeted us with welcoming, smiles and got us a place to eat for a large group. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out super fast, which was important as we had about 15 11 and 12-year-old girls with us. I always enjoy their pizza and they have such a great variety. If you're local to Encinitas or just passing through, and you're looking for pizza, this is the place to go. ”
